Ms. Hendricks works in patent prosecution where she focuses in areas of biotechnology, medicinal, (genetically engineered and small molecules), agricultural chemicals, delivery systems, separatory methods, chemical processes, foods, and laboratory equipment.
In addition to biotechnology, Ms. Hendricks also has extensive experience in licensing and collaborative agreements, including selling of technology outright, and in the field of trademarks.
Before joining Stein IP LLC, Ms. Hendricks worked 20 years in private practice as a founding partner of Hendricks & Associates.

Before Hendricks & Associates, Ms. Hendricks worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (NIH) Office of the General Counsel, Patent Branch for 4 years, becoming head of the Patent Branch. Her duties included patent prosecution, licensing agreements, collaborative research and development agreements. She was also responsible for oversight of trademark prosecution.
Preceding her work at NIH, Ms. Hendricks worked as a Patent Examiner, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Art Unit 122 for 6 years, where she examined heterocyclic compounds, including agricultural chemicals, medicinals, dyes, chemical processes and methods of use.
